Wedding Work

I assisted a friend of mine with a wedding Saturday. I haven't advertised for wedding work this summer so when I get the chance to assist I'm happy to do it. This is one of my images from Saturday.

Sick Kid

I'm sitting up watching infomercials. It's 4:45 AM and I haven't gotten any sleep. DeShaun got sick. Jen and I was suppose to take turns sleeping but I decided to let her sleep. I'm sure I will regret it when I get to my shoot in about 3 1/2 hours. Anyway, while I was up I updated my SportsShooter page so check it out.


Here's an image from a tournament I shot on Thursday. This kid is a stud. He just hit his 3rd HR of the tournament...all in one day!

Funny Stuff

It's been a while since I posted something. Still to come is the update to our kitty. DeShaun named him Katty. I will get a photo up as soon as I can.

You have to check out this Shakira spoof video. I saw a story about this in The Oregonian newspaper this morning. The guys did this for a spanish class project.

I knew the cover photo was going to be printed big but the inside photos were printed pretty big too. These photos are scans from the magazine.

Timbers Shoot

I went to PGE Park this morning to shoot some players for an upcoming Timbers Soccer program. I was quite surprised because the players didn't seem to be in a rush to get photos over with, unlike the baseball team.


These guys are cousins. I was surprised to learn that they were from Queens, NY. I was born in Queens(Jamaica). Spent the first 13 years of my life there.

This shoot started off kind of hectic. My strobes were firing by themselves and I had Pocket Wizard issues. After making a phone call to my buddy Craig Mitchelldyer to get help with the PW issue, everything seemed to fall into place. This ended up being a nice relaxing shoot.

New Kitty

Boy oh boy, will DeShaun be surprised when he gets home. Yesterday Jen brought home a kitten. DeShaun will be back home next week and I can't wait to see the look on his face. I just hope he doesn't drive the little thing crazy. He might not want to leave the house ever again...unless he can take his new kitty with him. I will keep you updated.

4th of July Parade

This morning Jen and I went to the 4th of July Parade in downtownn Hillsboro. I'm not sure if I will take my cameras out tonight to photograph fireworks. If I do take pictures tonight I will post them.

More Recent Work

I haven't been updating the blog like I should. I try to update as much as possible. Sometimes I'm out of town and sometimes I'm just lazy. This will be a few updates rolled into one.

I shot this for The Broadway Rose Theatre Company. It's the musical play 42nd Street.


I had to cover some Junior League baseball over the weekend in Everett, WA. The kid on the right just hit his second homerun of the game.
