The Scenic Route

Today I shot 2A/1A State track in Monmouth, OR. My buddy Bones, a.k.a. Ted, talked me into taking HWY 99W home, the scenic route. Well, it was a nice drive but there was an accident on HWY 219. Had to stop and wait for the fire department to pull a man out of his truck. He was going too fast around a turn and flipped his truck.

I had nothing better to do so I got out of my car and started taking photos.

Ro, hope it didn't hang you up too much. It's a nice drive most of the time. Did you take the back road from Newberg, or go thru Sherwood/Tigard? Got some shots anyway, huh?

Ted advised me the same thing and it was a great drive, thanks, Ted! I once had the guy in front of me weaving and then drive into a hugh ditch on Hwy. 47 on the way home from Banks after a wedding shoot at McMennimin's Grand Lodge. He then drove through someone's yard and back on the road behind me, trying to continue but the truck's suspension was so messed up, he had to stop. In my rearview mirror, the people who's yard he just drove through were coming out to "help" :) I hope your guy was OK.
